I am a hobbyist woodworker and a retired physician. I don't like dirty hands, and woodworking leaves them very dirty with everything from plain dirt
to glue or metal filings etc.
I've tried everything that sounds like it would be effective in cleaning these grimy hands and the most successful product has been Bear Paw Hand Cleaner.
It is quite different than other products. It comes as a pink substance in a small bucket, and it needs water to activate.
Then it is a very pleasant slightly gritty substance that feels like a slurry of very wet sand. It is extremely effective at getting all types of dirt out from deep in the skin, and it leaves a very pleasant, refreshing feeling. I find myself wanting to use it more and more even for routine washing. It's habit forming.
