My name is Dean Benbenek and I grew up in northern New Jersey, a great place. After high school I attended the Fashion Institute Of Technology where I studied Menswear Design and Marketing. While in school I worked for a chemical manufacturing company that specialized in making Fountain Solutions. ( A product used in the printing industry ). During that time I came up with my first formula for a non-toxic, non- petroleum based hand cleaner that was more environmentally friendly than typical hand cleaners.
My first business was out of my garage making "Deans Industrial Hand Cleaner". I did pretty well and I finally got out of the garage. My goal was always the same and I never stopped trying to make something even better. Years later I sold my business and started Bear Paw, I dedicated myself to coming up with an even better product and a much better company. Making hand cleaner is as much an art as it is a science. I have been making hand cleaners for over 20 years.
I feel with the products available today, I am now producing the best hand cleaner for hard working hands you can buy. There is no reason to be cleaning up with petroleum or solvent based cleaners.
